Job Opportunity: Head of Financial Services Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 Are you a driven finance professional seeking a pivotal career move? About the Role: As the Head of Financial Services, you'll play a crucial role in the management team, reporting directly to the CFO. You'll lead a newly formed Financial Services team.
Lead the establishment and management of the Financial Services team Oversee financial reporting, including Monthly Management Accounts and Statutory Financial Statements Ensure compliance with financial regulations in a regulated sector Deliver financial information to non-finance stakeholders and write board papers Manage multi-year cash flow and develop financial systems Lead budget setting and 3-year financial planning at organizational and departmental levels Stay updated on Procurement & Payroll guidelines and Finance and Funding regulations for FE & HE sectors
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role (FE experience not essential) Relevant professional qualification in accountancy (e.g., CIMA, CIPFA, ACCA, ICA) Experience in managing a varied corporate service function Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and financial regulations
