Job DescriptionTitle: Head of FP&ALocation: London (hybrid)Salary: £120k, plus bonusMT0931Role Overview:Finatal are working with a PE backed Financial Services business, seeking a Head of FP&A, to play a crucial role in driving business performance and strategic decision-making during a pivotal period, approximately 12-18 months from exit. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will oversee the financial planning and analysis functions, providing insightful analysis, forecasting, and strategic guidance to senior stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Review and analyse revenues, costs, and overall financial performance to identify trends, opportunities and risks.Lead short and long-term financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to support strategic decision-making.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to update and refine the company's long-term strategic plan, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market dynamics.Act as a trusted advisor and business partner to senior stakeholders, providing financial insights, scenario analysis, and strategic recommendations to drive business growth and profitability.Develop and implement value-adding KPIs dashboards, and MI reports to monitor performance and facilitate data-driven decision-making.Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and scenario planning.Lead and develop a high-performing FP&A team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and excellence.Qualifications and Experience: ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalentAt least 6-8 post-qualified experience in FP&A roles within the financial services industry, with minimum 4 years’ PE experience.Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and modelling skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial planning software.Demonstrated ability to develop and communicate strategic insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organisation.
