The Opportunity:
This is an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic and progressive Head of Finance to join this business in this excitinggrowth phase, contributing to the overall performance and management of the business. The role will involve working closelywith the FD, and there are very real progression prospects to FD level within the next 2 years.TheRole: Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organisational goals and objectivesDrive financial planning processes including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modellingAnalyse financial performance and provide insights to the Board for strategic decision-makingAssist with the setting up of a US entity including statutory reporting and liaising with relevant stakeholdersMonitoring, assigning and creating funds to ensure adequate cashflowLead the annual audit, liaising with external auditorsMonitor and develop internal controls and processes ensuring best practiceResponsible for all statutory compliance, including statutory reporting and necessary VAT/tax compliance, in the UK andoverseasBusiness partnering with the senior management teamManage, develop and mentor a large finance team The Candidate: Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)A Confident and effective communicator with a proven track record of driving business growthPrevious experience of managing and leading a teamInternational experience is desirableA flexible hands-on approach to workHard working, driven and able to work in a fast-paced environmentPrevious experience of managing financial processes and delivering high quality management reportingStrong IT skills, particularly ERP systems and Excelthe calibre of candidates and service we've received from yourselves has been much higher than other agencies we've dealt with What sets Sue and Colin apart from the rest of the agencies 'Sue and Colin always listen to your needs when looking to fill a vacancy...I knew I could trust them to find suitable candidates'
