Are you a seasoned finance professional ready to take the helm as Head of Finance within a reputable Private Equity firm? This dynamic role also involves acting as Financial Controller for one of the PEs flagship investments, a �250m+ turnover retail business poised for a major transaction in the next 12-18 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Financial Leadership:
  • Craft and execute financial strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Lead financial reporting and analysis for senior management and investors.
  1. Financial Governance and Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
  • Implement robust financial controls and risk management processes.
  1. Investment Analysis and Support:
  • Conduct financial due diligence for acquisitions.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities with thorough financial analysis.
  • Collaborate with the investment team to structure deals.

Financial Controllership for Portfolio Client:

  • Lead the finance team for accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions.
  • Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Prepare the company for potential transactions, including M&A activities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in the capacity of Financial Controller or Head of Finance.

  • Experience in financial controllership within mid to large business.

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with post qualified experience
