As the Head of Finance you'll be responsible for the Finance function at flatfair, working closely with the business to help expand flatfair's No Deposit product in the UK alongside supporting the broader strategy.You'll be a fully qualified accountant with experience of UK accounting standards and previous experience in a senior accountant or Finance Lead role.What you'll be doingExecute and managethe day-to-day finance activities, budgeting process and statutory accounting/tax reporting process.Oversee the implementation of finance processes and ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information to both internal and external shareholders.Act as a Finance business partner to all internal stakeholders, proactively identifying opportunities to improve.Review the strategic plan in close collaboration with all stakeholders and then ensure that the right resources and setup are in place to ensure delivery.About youExperience as a senior accountant or Finance lead, ideally within a start up or early stage business.A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with detailed knowledge of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management, general finance and budgeting and UK statutory accounting requirements.Knowledge offorecasting and financial modelling, with a desire to get more involved with strategic financial planning.Ability and willingness to manage day to day financial operational requirements alongside working on more strategic initiatives.Strong problem solver with evidence of strategic thought linked to creating shareholder value.Successful candidates for this role may also have had job titles such as Finance Manager, Finance Business Partner, Senior Accountant.We value diversity and welcome applicants with varying backgrounds and experiences.
