A renowned reputation for its quality products and excellent customer service, that despite continued YOY growth, this corporation maintains a close-knit, supportive work environment and is dedicated to nurturing the growth and development of its employees.A growing SME at an exciting point on an upward trajectory.The RoleHands -on role Reporting to the Managing Director the Head of Finance will oversee and develop a small finance team and will be responsible for all day-to-day Financial Management including all internal and external reporting. Leading, and directing the finance team to deliver accurate and regular management information to the Board, and departments and divisions.ResponsibilitiesForming close working relationships with the MD and Senior Management Team to formulate strategy and providing sound financial guidance regarding key strategic decisions.Monthly management accounts preparation for review by the Senior Management with responsibility for the month end accounting, general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, compliance, and stock managementControl of working capital, cash-flow and managing bank relationshipsTo support the MD and the company in the budgetary planning and forecasting processes including preparation of the annual budget and updated forecastsMonthly flash and setting/reporting KPI'sOversee the annual audit and tax computation preparation, including liaison with the auditorsTo develop and lead the evolution of the Company's financial reporting processes, including ownership and development of the costing and business management systemsTo ensure that the company's financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation.To demonstrate and support the team with their understanding of international trade, including the interaction with duty and customs issuesLiaison with external bodies - HMRC, Insurers, auditors banking and investorsStrong stakeholder management capabilities at all levelsThe Successful Candidate Will HaveACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified with at least 10 years PQE (required)Analytical with excellent leadership capabilitiesStrong manufacturing exposure with a detailed knowledge of costing and estimating systems (BOM, processes routings) and lean manufacturing techniques (required)You will have previously worked as the Head of Finance/Financial Controller within a manufacturing SME environment and be capable of making sound Financial Decisions (required)A strong relationship builder you will act as Financial Business partner and ensure an increased awareness of the financial implications of high-level decision makingIT literate with advance Excel skill (required)Experience in International growthWhat's On OfferA highly competitive salary dependent on experienceComprehensive benefits package (including bonus and pension)A supportive and inclusive work environmentExcellent opportunities for professional growth and development25 days holidayIf you would like to apply for the role please send your CV to Seniority levelSeniority level Director Employment typeEmployment type Full-time Job functionJob function Finance Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Hamilton Woods by 2xGet notified about new
