Head of FinanceLocation: CroydonSalary: £50,000 - £60,000Sector: multi-site hospitalityWe are looking for a driven Head of Finance to provide strategic financial leadership to our expanding group. You will join us at an exciting time of growth and ambition and bring confidence, aptitude and diplomacy alongside professional skills and expertise.Taking this position at this stage of the group expansion will offer great career opportunities of progression to the right candidate.ResponsibilitiesManagement accounts: Lead, manage and coordinate the preparation of the consolidated group monthly accounts. To include coordination of the underlying financial information/accounts for each of the individual entities/business.Data analytics/reporting: Establish and embed routine and regular data analytics activity and provide timely and accurate KPIs/reports as required by each department, including but not limited to investor/Board reporting, sales analytics, margin/profitability analytics, returns on investment (RoI) for various projects, production KPIs etc.Cashflow managementBudgeting: Preparation of the annual budget and any subsequent re-forecasts (including regular short/medium term cashflow projections).Audit, statutory accounts and tax: Lead the relationship with the external auditors and tax advisers, and co-ordinate the annual audit/tax compliance processes with the Financial Controller. Lead any future group restructuring to remove dormant/non-trading entities from the group.Due diligence: Undertake and lead any financial due diligence workstreams for any future transactions including timely coordination of deliverables/requests and data gathering.Investment analysis: Support the preparation board-level papers to seek approval for investments in the business e.g. geographical expansion, manufacturing capex and other growth initiatives. With a focus on RoI investment analysis.The candidate must have relevant experience and qualifications e.g. FCA/ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
