Head of Finance

Job Title: Head of FinanceLocation: Central LondonHybrid: 2 days in the office 3 days WFHSalary: £70,000 + shared company bonus + excellent benefitsAn exciting opportunity has arisen working for a not-for-profit organisation. They are hoping to bring in a Head of Finance to join their finance team based in London. The main responsibility of the role is to control and manage the organisations finances.This role requires someone who is hands on and happy to roll their sleeves up when required. At the same time, they will be included on the Senior Leadership team and will be expected to contribute to company strategy through providing analysis and commercial insight.Responsibilities:Provide timely and accurate financial services to the Institute and organisations within the groupHelp redefine how the finance department is seen as a valued partner on decision making rather than just a log for transactionsManage the performance of the Finance Assistant supporting their developmentSupport annual business planning and ongoing budget managementCreate financial reports and status updates to provide accurate and timely financial and management information (including the monthly Management Information Suite) to directorsMonitor revenue and expenditure results against forecast and prepare reports so that future income trends are accurately forecast and risks escalated to the CFOWork with the CFO to operate the management accounting systems and ensure the required standards and relevant regulations are followedExperience and attributes required:Fully Qualified accountant - CIMA/ACCA/ACA - EssentialExperience working with SAGE - EssentialPrevious experience in a similar role - Essential University degree - EssentialThis is a great opportunity to join a meaningful company where you can really add value to the running of the organisation.We look forward to receiving your application and will consider candidates from similar backgrounds who have experience such as Finance Manager, Senior Finance Manager, Financial Controller, Head of Accounts
