Head of Finance - Charity

Salary �60,000

A challenging and rewarding role available for a Head of Finance within a Charity.

The Head of Finance is responsible for the implementation of strategy and objectives. You will have a background in Charities and be able to provide sound financial guidance and strategic support to the organisation.

Monday-Friday 35 hours per week, flexi hours between 8am and 6pm Reporting and working alongside the COO you will be supported by a finance office in the day-to-day accounting operations.

Duties and responsibilities associated with the role of Head of Finance
- You will be responsible for the overall financial function.
- Be a key member of the Senior management team
- Financial policies, procedures and frameworks
- Annual, monthly and financial reporting, being part of the Finance, Audit, Risk and compliance Committee.
- Manage efficient systems for capital projects
- Undertake company secretary and compliance
- Oversee the management of an efficient Payroll system (IRIS)

As the Head of Finance, you will be the first point of liaison with external partners, advisors, etc (Commissioners, auditors, Inland Revenue, Customs & Excise, Bank, Insurance Brokers, investment advisors, etc) - excellent communication skills are required.

Ideally you will have worked as a Head of Finance or similar within a Charity, managed a team and be happy to hit the ground running. This is a role where multi-tasking, and organisational skills will need to be on point.

ICAEW, QBE, ACCA or CIMA qualifications welcomed.
