Our industry leading techniques help us create and deliver unique beer whilst doing our bit (and others') for the environment.About The RoleFinance lead for all Brewdog Bars (owned and franchise) as well as hotels g;obally.Ownership of the Retail Budget and Forecasting process.Weekly / Monthly reporting on Retail performance at both a site and department level - highlighting ongoing trends and trajectory.Production of key analysis highlighting areas of risk and opportunity to the business.Tracking monthly initiatives to highlight their value to the Group.P&L consolidation.Challenging P&L assumptions and results versus expectations and forecast.Running monthly P&L reviews with key Retail Operators.Estate evaluation highlighting trends by region, type of site, key metrics, etc. This also includes working with the legal team to highlight areas of opportunity both for site acquisition and exit.Finance project lead for Retail. This includes supporting IT, process changes, financial insight, etc.Production of a Rolling 12 month forecast and beyond (helping to support the Groups 5 year plan).Franchise support helping to drive this area of the business as it continues to expand globally. This includes production of the P&L and understanding individual Franchise contracts and associated implications.Work closely with the Head of Commercial Finance to highlight Retail performance.Direct support to the Global Retail Team. This will require close business partnering and support to all key functions within that team - Ops, Food & Drink Teams, HR, Marketing, Property, Legal, IT.Direct support to the Head of Franchise, working to provide a consolidated view of Retail (Owned bars as well as Franchise).Drive a collaborative working culture across both the finance and retail functions, working closely to ensure fulfilment of business requirements whilst encouraging openness and approachability.Work together with the other departments to ensure the smooth running of the total operation.Make decisions based on what is best for the business and not just your departmentAbout YouDegree qualified with a strong academic track recordQualified accountant (e.g. CA, CIMA, ACCA, ACMA) with at least 5 years PQE with experience of working in the hospitality industry.Experience of leading a finance department.Capable of driving change and constantly challenge the status quo.Credible, with the ability to influence decision makingSelf-starting and able to build strong relationships across the businessInquisitive nature and driven to challenge and improve current practicesExcellent communication skills - both verbal and writtenExcellent Excel capabilities with experience of manipulating large volumes of dataAbility to prioritise and adapt to workloadTHE BREWDOG CHARTERWE BLEED CRAFT BEER | This is our true North.WE ARE UNCOMPROMISING | If we don't love it, we don't do it.
