T2M Resourcing are working with an exciting automotive business to help them to recruit a Head of Facilities Management.



As their Head of FM not only will you be responsible for the management of all the company’s general facilities and property, helping them to create and deliver an exciting facilities roadmap in line with the business’s growth plans, you will also take a lead on all Health Safety and Environment activities driving change and ensuring compliance.





Key Responsibilities as the Head of Facilities Management:




  • Management of subcontractors and the Facilities, Health, Safety and Environment team to maintain site facilities and ensure Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures are adhered to across all site ensuring legal compliance.

  • Ensure maintenance schedules and all routine maintenance procedures are completed and correct.

  • Develop and implement new health, safety and environmental strategies and policies within the framework of ISO45001.

  • Support the executive and management team with the planning, costing and specification of new facilities as the business grows.

  • Provide input into disaster recovery plans and work alongside key stakeholders on CAPEX projects to improve existing plant and equipment systems.





Requirements to be a successful Head of Facilities Management:




  • Previous Facilities management experience within a factory, industrial, manufacturing or production environment essential.

  • Excellent knowledge of current HSE legislation with a recognised qualification (preferably NEBOSH or IOSH).

  • Experience of delivering facilities projects on budget/time essential.

  • Strong planning, organisational and communicational skills with the ability to prioritise and problem solve under pressure.

  • Confident in using Microsoft Application applications.





This role will be based from the company’s main site in Milton Keynes, and will provide the successful applicant the opportunity to grow alongside an exciting and innovative automotive business.



They have budgeted a salary of up to £60,000 for the role depending on experience, and the package would also include a Private Medical plan, a good holiday allowance growing with service and an Electrical Vehicle Sacrifice Scheme following the successful completion of your probationary period.
