Head of Excise & Customs, Large UK Headquarted Group

An exceptionally high profile opportunity has come to the market as a Head of Excise & Customs for a large multinational UK Headquartered Group. This is a high profile role both internally and externally and will require a strong technical expert as well as a commercial approach. You will report to the Group Tax Director and lead a high performing team.

Key responsibilities include:

Lead, identify and develop efficient and accurate Excise & Customs compliant processes
Build and develop relationships with Government bodies in order to develop channels for resolving and identifying solutions to Excise and Customs duty related issues
Ensure the Business receives timely and relevant advice on Excise and Customs matters relevant to business developments
Co-ordinate cross-functional and international business units to mitigate the Group's Excise & Customs duty bill

This is a unique opportunity that would suit someone doing a similar role in-house or someone in practice operating at Senior Manager or Director level looking for an in-house move.
