Head of Engineering

A Head of Engineering is needed to shape the next generation of Digital Technology Marketing within a scale-up company!
You will be leading and scaling the engineering team to new heights while shaping the future of their core product! Collaborating closely with the CTO to ensure alignment between engineering goals and wider company objectives.
Salary: £130k
Based: UK (Remote with quarterly meet-ups)
Key Responsibilities:
Growth!!! Mentoring and leading a diverse engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration
Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and products
Oversee the development and maintenance of a scaling SaaS platform, enabling high performance, scalability, and security to meet client needs
Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices, adopting the latest tech and methodologies to maintain a competitive market edge
Spearhead the development and implementation of AI-powered features and products- using cutting edge technologies
Requirements:
Proven experience in senior engineering roles with a track record in scaling engineering teams and driving individual performance
SaaS experience is a plus!
Experience overseeing software solutions from concept to delivery, with a key focus on software, application design, and architecture
Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills, with key attention to detail
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and mentor a team
Able to navigate scale-up environments and drive business growth
Experience working within the marketing space will be a plus!
