As the Head of Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technology landscape, driving innovation, and ensuring successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:
Leadership: Provide strategic direction and inspire the engineering team to achieve departmental goals.
Project Oversight: Oversee multiple projects, ensuring timely and within budget delivery.
Resource Management: Assign workloads, optimize resource allocation, and foster collaboration.
Technical Guidance: Offer hands-on technical guidance, especially in JavaScript, React.JS, and AWS.
Budgeting and Scheduling: Estimate project budgets and schedules for efficient resource utilization.
Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with senior management, vendors, and clients, providing regular updates.
Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality software development practices and adherence to best practices.
Innovation: Drive innovation within the engineering function, exploring new technologies and methodologies.
Requirements:
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in JavaScript, React.JS, and AWS. Ability to teach and mentor team members.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional engineering teams.
Project Management: Experience overseeing complex projects from inception to completion.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to align engineering efforts with business objectives.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
