We are excited to be working with an organisation who are revolutionising the logistics sector with their zero-emission solutions. With the aim of reducing our biggest cities’ carbon footprint, the team put sustainability at the heart of everything they do. This ‘Tech for Good’ scaleup have an exciting year ahead, and they’re looking for a Head of Engineering to join them as they continue to grow. This person will be responsible for nurturing the current development team – being a mix of people management and technical leadership, along with some hands-on development. In this brand new role, you will make a significant contribution to the company’s technical roadmap and be an integral part of the team.
Essentials:
Background in Java, Spring, and SQL
5+ years team management experience
Strong communication skills
A natural leader
Passion for sustainability
Desirable:
Experience in the logistics sector
Experience with GCP
