Head of EngineeringWe are currently on the lookout for aHead of Engineering to join our client in the outskirts ofLeicesteron a permanent basis.Our client is looking for aHead of Engineering to become part ofa world-leading manufacturer of composites and GRP components for industries including Formula One, automotive, engineering, marine, aerospace, and rail. This is the position for someone who is passionate, dynamic, ambitious, motivated and ready to grow and achieve job satisfaction with competitive salary and benefits.Head of Engineering responsibilities:Managing the Design Engineer teamCollaborative relationships with both the commercial and operations teams to ensure we meet customer deadlines, and the operations staff have the correct informationPlanning, management, execution, and implementation of all engineering activities.Mentoring junior team members’Planning, management, execution, and implementation of all engineering activities.Head of Engineering requirements:CAD design (Catia V5 / 3D Experience)Tooling design/surface design and modellingAbility to work on multiple prioritiesExperience in Composites MachiningExperience within the automotive sectorExperience within an SME is desirableAt least 5 years of working in a senior role within the engineering fieldMaster’s degree in engineering or the equivalent in engineering experience within the automotive industryHead of Engineering benefits:Salary up to £65,000 per annum23 days holiday + bank holidaysCompany pensionFlexible scheduleWellness programmeThis is a full-time permanent position for the successful Head of Engineering.
