An opportunity has arisen to join an outstanding Social Housing provider in Cornwall to head up the Energy Efficiency department on a full-time, permanent basis.The role as the Head of Energy Efficient would primarily involve leading on the delivery and coordination of the energy investment programme for the future of the property portfolio of the Social Housing provider.Further responsibilities would include:Delivering programmes of works; reporting on any energy improvements; and managing the energy efficiency teamContractor management and procurement to ensure works are carried out according to the specified timelineEnsuring EPC ratings are upgraded by certain deadlines, and that these are accurate and compliantUndertaking inspections and Retrofit Assessments on the affordable properties to determine work requirements, and ensuring that these are compliant with company standardsTo act as the Retrofit Coordinator to upgrade the affordable propertiesThe ideal person would hold the following skills and experience:Experience and qualifications in Domestic Energy AssessmentsExperience and qualifications in Building Surveying, Retrofit or equivalentA full driving licenseExperience in advising on energy efficiencyExcellent IT abilitiesFor more information or a confidential chat, please do get in touch with Olivia Eden at RGB Recruitment
