Nyetimber is a pioneering luxury brand and multiple award-winning English sparkling wine producer. Our story is one of many firsts; we were the first to pioneer the now-established style of English sparkling wine; we were the first to grow the renowned grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier in England exclusively for producing sparkling wine; and the estate where our vines were first planted, was first mentioned in the Domesday book of 1086 by its then Anglo-Saxon name “Nyetimbraha”.

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Head of Digital to join our team. This position is well-suited to an experienced Head of Digital or Digital Leader.
The Head of Digital will be responsible for creating and implementing Nyetimber’s global digital marketing strategy which includes website and e-commerce, CRM, social media (paid and organic), PPC, S.E.O, media distribution. Lead the Digital Marketing Team and devise an executional plan to meet targets and KPIs.
This role plays a critical role in the organisation, working closely with the Senior Management Team as well as the Marketing Team, to increase online brand visibility, increase market awareness and engagement, drive revenue growth through digital channels, and enhance digital innovation and technology capabilities
Responsibilities:
Digital Strategy Development: Working in collaboration with the Senior Management team, to develop, implement and execute our Digital Marketing strategy (including objectives & KPIs, e-commerce, social media, web, online, distribution, SEO etc.)
Digital Marketing and Advertising: Oversee digital marketing campaigns across digital channels (Social, email, display) to increase market awareness, drive traffic, engagement and sales.
Website and eCommerce Management: Lead the development and optimisation of the website and support the eCommerce Manager to enhance user experience, conversion rates and online sales. Oversee SEO in conjunction with eCommerce Manager.
Website: Initiate and lead a wide revision of the current website, advise on short and medium -term plan to re-platform and revise, including brief development, supplier selection and leading the delivery process.
Social Media Management: Oversee and guide on the Social Media Strategy, overseeing paid and organic social media.
Digital Leadership: Accountable for the management of all Nyetimber global digital activities. Lead and manage relationships with external agencies, suppliers and implementation of department strategy, budgeting and planning.
Team Leadership: Lead, manage and motivate the team including being responsible for the recruitment, retention and training . Develop, manage, and mentor the team on skills and processes required to deliver the approved marketing strategies. Supporting your team to work with others across the organisation as well as consultants and Digital Agencies to develop content that engages our audiences and enhances the user experience of our channels.
Working closely with the Senior management team, Head of Brand and Digital team to ensure the communication of Nyetimber’s priorities and brand narrative in a compelling and inspiring way through all digital channels.
Marketing Team Support: Lead on the development of wider global digital marketing approaches to support our priority objectives of increasing brand awareness and conversion on our e-commerce channels, as well as driving our digital performance to enhance our luxury positioning.
Monitoring and Reporting: Create and deliver a robust set of KPIs and the means to capture the data, track, monitor and report on performance using analytics software and tools as appropriate, and needed conducting regular review of digital communications performance. Provide regular reporting to the Senior Management team for insight that you have gathered to enhance our digital channels.
Maintain a strong knowledge of developments, innovation and new technology in web, performance, marketing and social media and identify any that may be of benefit and interest to Nyetimber.
Budget: To send an annual proposed draft budget to the CEO and MD. Once approved, to be responsible for the monitoring, managing this budget and providing regular key information about this to the Senior Management team.
Experience:
Experience in a Senior Digital Marketing leadership role, preferably within a relevant industry.
Experience leading and building digital teams.
An understanding of luxury and experience within luxury is important.
Marketing Skills: In-depth understanding of digital marketing principles, strategies and best practice. Proficiency in digital marketing channels, and experience overseeing and leading on SEO , PPC, social media marketing, email, website
Website and eCommerce Leadership: Experience leading on the development and management of websites and experience of eCommerce platforms and strategy.
Analytically strong and able to take a data-driven approach to enhancing our digital performance. Proficiency in digital analytics tools is key. Strong track record of deriving insights from data analysis and using data to inform decision-making and optimise digital strategies.
Deep experience across the digital marketing mix: website development and management including CMS, organic and paid social, SEO, PPC. And demonstrated experience of driving impact and growth at scale.
Experienced content and data strategist with strong understanding of the role of SEO, content optimisation, audience profiling, social media channel insights, Google Analytics, Google
