Role Title: Head of Digital Continuous ImprovementLocation: Radbroke Overall Purpose of Role: This role is a senior leadership position within Digital Channels, required to lead and optimise our e2e change and engineering processes, delivering continuous improvement, removing waste and inefficiency, through the use of value stream mapping and data to drive improvements that will improve cadence, velocity and quality of changes getting to our customers using the digital channels Key Accountabilities: ·Create and maintain value stream maps to identify areas of waste and inefficiency in the organization's processes. ·Analyse value stream maps to identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategies to eliminate waste. ·Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and reduce waste. ·Monitoring the progress of waste reduction initiatives and reporting on their effectiveness. ·Providing training and coaching to team members on value stream mapping and waste reduction methodologies. ·Continuously evaluating and refining processes to ensure optimal performance and minimize waste. ·Lead and manage continuous improvement initiatives across the Digital Channels organisation. ·Promote a culture of continuous improvement and sharing of best practices. ·Develop and monitor performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of implemented improvements. Stakeholder Management and Leadership ·Demonstrable experience operating with senior level stakeholders across technology and business disciplines ·Strong communication skills are essential simplify complexity and facilitate decision making ·Act as a role model for emerging leaders and inspire outstanding performance in challenging circumstances ·Drive collaboration across BUK and technology teams, as well as building effective relationships more widely across risk, control and business functions ·Display integrity, initiative and commitment through interactions with colleagues and clients Decision-makingandProblemSolving ·Able to understand critical functions of new technical areas at pace, then deploy methodical approach to source engineering and change initiatives within these areas which will create capacity and control opportunities ·Able to understand, explain and present complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels up to CIO level in a persuasive and convincing manner ·Effectively empower teams to deliver in a controlled way ·Able to bring stakeholders together and facilitate understand and decision making to drive the strategic agenda forwards Risk and Control Objective
·Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work you do Person Specifications: ·Proven track record of leading successful continuous improvement projects. ·Strong analytical and statistical skills to monitor performance and identify improvement areas. ·Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving organizational goals. ·Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and work under pressure. ·Ability to deliver to tight deadlines and manage multiple demands. ·Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. ·Excellent collaborative skills and the ability to share best practices at all levels.
