Full Job DescriptionPanoramic Associates are delighted to be supporting Elim Housing infinding their new Group Head of Development.nGroup Head ofDevelopmentn£75,000nBristolnResponsible to the Group CEO, thesuccessful Group Head of Development will take a lead role in the workof the development team. You will work closely with both Elim and LPVBoards and the Head of Asset Management in order to achieve thedelivery of the Group's development objectivesnPurpose and outcomesnTolead on the identification and delivery of residential propertydevelopments for the Group, including Elim Housing and Lime PropertyVenturesnTo be an ambassador for Elim Housing and Lime PropertyVentures and represent thier values and aspirations in deliveringservices.nTo prioritise effective communication with customers,stakeholders, and staff in delivering services.nTo act as the ManagingDirector of LPVnAs the Group Head of Development, you will lead on theidentification of strategic development opportunities, including landled, S106, partnership and other residential build opportunities andto deliver the group development programme on target and tobudget.nOther Key responsibilities includenTo prepare financialappraisals, reports and other option evaluations, and to present theseto SLT and the Group Boards/Committees to achieve sign-off for newprojectsnTo lead on the management of the Group's developmentprogramme including land finding; the achievement of planning consentand discharge of conditions; the agreement of construction contractsand property sales as relevant.nTo work with the Head of AssetManagement and the Group Finance Director to recommend the Group'sannual development and viability assumptions; and KPIs for EHA and LPVBoard sign-off.nTo develop LPV's operating model, and to optimise theGroup's ability to work commercially through LPV to increase the levelof profit generated through development activity, for the benefit ofthe Group.nEXPERIENCEnThe successful Group Head of Development willhave experience of developing & delivering affordable housing schemesfrom land acquisition to completion of build. You will also have ademonstratable track record of appraising sites, the design andplanning stages and a detailed understanding of the acquisition stageof the development process.nIt will also be important to showcase thefollowing.nDetailed understanding of the financial aspects associatedwith managing a development programme and have a clear understandingof existing and emerging funding regimes for affordable housing inEngland.nDemonstratable experience of managing and monitoring largeprojects and programmes from a works and cashflow perspective.nUp todate technical knowledge of the grant funding process for Developmentand Regeneration projects.nRobust knowledge and genuine interest inthe Property sector including Regeneration.nYou will be Confident andpersuasive negotiator, able to think outside of the box to achievesuccessful outcomes.
