Head of Development & Marketing – Showtown Job Title: Head of Development & MarketingSalary: £40,000Hours: Full timeLocation: Blackpool Heritage & Museum Trust, BlackpoolClosing date: 9:00 am 30 May 2024 Showtown are seeking a Head of Development & Marketing. This exciting role will lead our income generation strategy and develop intriguing, fun and entertaining marketing materials to engage both funders and audiences.As one of Blackpool Heritage & Museum Trust’s senior management team you will have a critical role in supporting and advising the Chief Executive on key marketing, communications and fundraising activities.You will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of the marketing strategy including promotional campaigns, events, digital marketing and public relations.Strategically you will be thinking and planning longer term to ensure the effective marketing and promotion of the Museum to ensure its success in a highly competitive tourism market.You will also take the lead in generating raised funds for BM&HT through grants, fundraising and memberships including stakeholder relationship development and management.You will manage the marketing and development team.Location: Blackpool Heritage & Museum Trust Offices, across Blackpool with optional home working up to 2 days per week.Reporting to: Chief Executive – Blackpool Heritage & Museum TrustInterview dates:Thursday 6 th
