Job DescriptionTristoneNash are supporting a large housing provider in their search for a Head of Development Delivery to join the team to support the Assistant Director of Development Delivery to oversee the delivery of all new homes in the South region, across a range of different tenures and acquisition routes. You will lead several development project managers to drive performance of the delivery of new homes to programme and to budget. You will be responsible for assigning resources based on skills and ability ensuring projects are appropriately resourced.Role:Responsible for delivery of greenfield, brownfield s106 opportunities, and commercial buildings within the region aligned to the development gateways. As delegated administer Joint venture partnership developments. Implement the delivery strategies to ensure the performance and progress of projects, develop opportunities and manage risks. Support the Assistant Director of Development Delivery to develop and promote future plans as a feed into investment strategy and BP. Develop market intelligence to ensure competitiveness. Keeping on top of performance, and visibility of pipeline, current and future.Experience required:A track record of taking major projects from concept to delivery; creating teams to evolve the project and teams to manage the project once established.A demonstrable record of partnership working, influencing and persuading.Experience of using learning from a range of roles within the housing or related sector.A track record of delivering mixed-use, developments.An understanding of wider commercial markets.A comprehensive understanding of commercial practices relevant to delivering new development.Financially literate, with the ability to interpret development funding models.Track record of political and policy engagement and can horizon-scan.Housing sector knowledge and insight or can demonstrate transferability from another related sector.Has led a team of mixed professions and skills, with a track record of collective achievement.Able to work tactically to translate strategy into action and to use experience to reshape strategyExperience working with senior executives. Skills and abilities:Confident but self-aware. Able to see themselves as they are and use themselves and others around them to create a strong team.Able to develop and promote ideas.Strong project development skills can work in matrix management structure - happy to lead and to follow.
