The candidate could be based out of either Crawley, Helsinki, Netherlands, or Atlanta.What you’ll be doingLead, develop and directly contribute to a team of designers across the different Design disciplinesChampion user-centered design principles across the Design, Product Management, and Engineering functionsDesign and deliver a vision and strategy for iterative transformation of the enterprise User Experience, working collaboratively across different functions and business-linesEnsure that our products offer a coherent & consistent, unified User Experience across the portfolioLead and oversee Design for products, from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with the Elekta brand identityCollaborate with key partners to ensure product safety, reliability, performance, and user experience meet industry standardsDrive continuous improvement by staying informed about industry regulations and trends and adhering to best-in-class methodologies and standardsWhat you’ll bringAt least 5 years working in the Medical Devices fieldAt least 5 years in a strategic leadership roleA minimum of a bachelor’s degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)Track record leading multi-disciplinary Design teams responsible for managing large complex portfoliosPassion for UX with a strong desire to advocate on behalf of users and to help others understand the importance of UXEnhanced leadership skills with proven experience collaborating and influencing across functionsCreative thinking, technical skills, and entrepreneurial drive across a variety of products or industriesAbility to travel domestically and internationally with restrictionsThe right stuffElekta is going through a Digital Transformation to modernize our solutions.
