M/LK Search are delighted to be supporting this unique, small, high-achieving secondary school in Lewisham who are looking to recruit a passionate and forward-looking leader to Head up their Languages department.
This is no ‘run-of-the mill’ school. They take an innovative approach to performance management, centering on process, and pedagogy, and are particularly in interested in leaders who consider themselves lifelong learners and are committed to developing others.
The successful person will be joining a truly dynamic and motivated Languages Team to provide professional leadership and management for French and Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4.
You will be:
Passionate about languages with a relevant degree
Hold Qualified Teacher Status in the UK with at least 2 year's successful teaching experience
An innovative and creative practitioner with the ability to lead a small department
Committed to raising standards, with the highest expectations of all students.
Committed to working collaboratively across Key Stages 3 and 4
Committed to developing as a teacher and leader, contributing to the continued development of the whole school
You will be leading a small team of 3, providing a perfect progression opportunity for an experienced MFL teacher looking for the next step
