Costain have a rare opportunity for a Head of Delivery to take a Strategic lead role within a highly respected main partner operatingin the Southern Water (SWS) sector region. This is a senior appointment, and weare looking for someone with real drive and passion to further strengthen the CMDP relationship with SWSand take the framework to the next level.About the RoleReporting directly to the Framework Director, this isa hands-on role, as well as strategic management, client development, peoplemanagement, community and customer orientation with a digital vision.KeyResponsibilitiesLead the CMDP team in all aspects of deliveryProvidestrategic and professional guidance to Construction Managers, Project Managersand wider members of the teamActively champion wellbeing, safety and environmentperformance, and compliance throughout your team to create a safety culture toensure Zero LTI and RIDDOR IncidentsDevelop and maintain a high-performance culture acrossthe CMDP team, delivering efficiencies and continuous improvementProvide whole life oversight and accountability for thesuccessful delivery of projects, through design, procurement, assembly,commissioning, and handoverDeliver commercial and financial performance in line withbudget expectationsPromote and actively demonstrate collaborative behaviourswithin the CMDP JV teamEnsure compliance with SWS and CMDP governancerequirementsEstablish and grow excellent relationships with SWS andother Delivery PartnersAbout YouExtensive experience in leading, managing, developing, andmotivating senior people and teams - your leadership skills will be key tosuccess in this roleAble to demonstrate a real passion for construction andproject deliverySignificant amount of contract delivery experience whereyou have successfully managed a regional framework of multiple projects and/orprogrammes of a complex or critical nature in a collaborative deliveryenvironmentTechnical understanding of Water and Wastewater treatmentConfident making high risk decisions whilst maintainingyour commitment to excellenceStrong communicator with the ability to build strong,trusting stakeholder and partner relationships and influence at all levels toachieve mutual successExcellent knowledge, and experience of CDM andConstruction & Engineering ManagementSolid commercial, financial and analytical skillsExperience with Digital Strategy in construction
Qualifications andTrainingHNC/HND or degree in a relevant engineering disciplineSMSTS qualificationNEC PM accreditation (preferred)Association of Project Management APMP (preferred)
