Reporting to the Head of Data Engineering and Operations, you'll collaborate closely with product owners, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional solutions.What will you be doing?Platform Roadmap:Serve as the technical go-to person for the Senior Product Owner and Product Owner.Collaborate on defining the platform roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals.Advise on technical feasibility, risks, and trade-offs when adding new functionalities.Stay informed about changes and updates to Azure platforms from Microsoft.Assess potential risks to existing applications and pipelines due to platform changes.Lead efforts to prevent or resolve any issues arising from platform updates.Innovation and Optimization:Act as an advisor on new Microsoft products and services.Identify opportunities to enhance our platforms using new technologies.Drive continuous improvement in data management practices through innovative solutions.Lead the development of new features and solutions on the architectural side of the platform.Collaborate with cross-functional teams for timely deployment of new features.Maintain architectural integrity, scalability, and performance.Create and maintain the platform's architectural documentation.Ensure alignment with industry standards and compliance requirements.We thrive on inclusivity and diversity at Ofgem, fostering a delivery-oriented environment that encourages collaborative efforts across a spectrum of professions and disciplines.
