Position Overview: As the Head of Data and BI Consulting Services, you will lead our consulting practice that specializes in delivering cutting-edge data and analytics solutions using the Microsoft stack. You will be responsible for both the sales and delivery of these services, ensuring that our solutions meet our clients’ needs and exceed their expectations. This is a pivotal role that combines technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership to drive the growth and success of our data and BI consulting services. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Strategy: Lead the Data and BI consulting team, setting the vision and strategy for the practice. Drive innovation and maintain a deep understanding of market trends and emerging technologies within the Microsoft ecosystem. Business Development: Actively engage in business development activities, including networking, partnerships, and proposal development. Drive the sales process for data and BI services, from lead generation to closure. Solution Delivery: Oversee the delivery of data and BI projects, ensuring they are executed on time, within budget, and with the highest level of quality. Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Client Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to our clients, understanding their business challenges and crafting bespoke data solutions that leverage the full capabilities of the Microsoft stack. Team Management: Attract, develop, and retain a team of data professionals. Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation and professional growth. Partnership and Collaboration: Work closely with Microsoft and other partners to stay ahead of technology advancements and ensure our team is fully trained and certified. Experience Required: Proven experience in a leadership role within a data/BI consulting practice, with a strong track record of delivering successful data projects using the Microsoft technology stack (e.g., SQL Server, Azure Data Services, Power BI). Extensive experience in business development, with demonstrated success in sales and client relationship management in the consulting sector. Deep technical expertise in data architecture, data modeling, ETL processes, data visualization, and advanced analytics. Strong understanding of the broader data and analytics market, including trends, challenges, and opportunities. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop talent. Outstanding communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Data Analyst Associate, Data Engineer Associate, Data Scientist Associate) are highly desirable. Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in data and analytics, with at least 5 years in a consulting or services environment.
