Description The Head of Customer Technical Support (HCTS) role is pivotal in the “customer focus” transformation of the “Technical” Heidelberg Materials Concrete. This high-profile role will ensure the intricate organisational and change management requirements are delivered by creating a high performing team..The HCTS will successfully manage the national technical support team and is responsible for promoting and optimising Concrete technical sales/specification opportunities nationally to drive volume and margin growth – with particular focus on value adding Concrete special products and technical customer support via expert technical knowledge/data.In order to achieve these objectives, the HCTS will engage with existing internal personnel and external customers using multiple channels, including digital platforms, plant/site visits and customer visits/presentations. Develop and maintain product reference literature and concrete technology training packages.Produce and supply customer data packs for Concrete/Materials/Carbon. Lead the Heidelberg Academy concept and deliver employee and customer product sessions.Drive specification support opportunities to create value adding sales and customer loyalty.
