Head of Corporate Services - About The Role



You will be leading a team of 10 and reporting into the Operations Director. You will be a pivotal part of the leadership team, liaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure unrivalled customer satisfaction and key objectives are met. This is an opportunity to put your mark on the business, develop new procedures and implement new ideas. This position is about people development, coaching and mentoring and as such you will require a demonstrable background in change and transformation. You will ensure that the teams are meeting their agreed targets and timelines on clients’ deliverables.



Responsibilities to include:




  • Take ownership of the P&L for Corporate Services, collaborating with the leadership team to meet targets

  • Lead and inspire a team across accounts, tax, banking and payments, creating a positive and engaging working environment

  • Main point of escalation for both internal stakeholder and clients, ensuring work is delivered to client expectations from initiation to completion

  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and external partners

  • Provide regular reports to the Directors and the Board, discuss areas for improvement and opportunities for growth using data and KPIs

  • Drive innovation and development withing the Corporate Services team



You will be part of the Senior Leadership team and support the drive of growth over the next 5 years.



The successful Head of Corporate Services will have/be:




  • Solid experience of team management - including recruitment, coaching, mentoring and development

  • Experience of working within a commercial role - accountable by SLA deliverables

  • Experience of change and transformation - system and process improvement/process mapping

  • Experience of being accountable for a business or unit’s P & L

  • This is not necessarily a core finance person, despite being accountable for the finance team; you could come from a commercial managerial position
