Using a team of Consultants, Data Scientists, Designers and Engineers, the business provides high quality, innovative “run-the-business” technology solutions that support clients and put passengers first.
The Position
As the Head of Consulting you will wear several hats and have a major impact on the future direction of the business. You’ll work in a growing team that is inclusive, open-minded and where your professional development can thrive.
Key responsibilities will include;
• Lead and drive the delivery of large, data-driven client projects
• Maintain regular liaison with all key stakeholders and employees on the progress of projects
• Lead and provide technical project delivery and input into new bidding opportunities
• Drive engagements with clients from all levels to create solutions that shape and deliver projects with tangible data-driven benefits
• Develop strong working relations with team members
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop the company profile and enhance the overall offering to the market.
The Candidate
As a suitable candidate you will have a background in consulting and an excellent understanding of the rail industry and the issues that it currently faces.
You should have good practical experience of data analysis and software development and will have managed full life-cycle projects ideally with rail clients.
Having led or contributed to digital transformation programmes (e.g. defining client strategy, designing and implementing solutions), you should be used to leading small teams and mentoring junior members of staff.
