We are three years old, with a strong growth record and a broad portfolio of clients – primarily large, listed corporates. If you are fantastic at your job, we would love to meet you. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ The opportunity Sillion is taking a new and advanced approach to the climate scenario analysis, transition risk and opportunity analysis, and decarbonisation modelling. Our specialism is in giving management teams actionable information on company strategy and operations; and giving finance teams the data, reporting, and insight for current and coming regulatory/stakeholder requirements. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀ We do this through a proprietary modelling tool that we use to solve multiple challenges pertaining to sustainability strategy and disclosure. We are already successfully delivering this product to FTSE100 and FTSE250 clients in a variety of sectors, from automotive to industrials to distribution. Our clients are making large-scale, real-world changes to their strategic direction and CapEx decisions from the insight that we provide. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀ Given the successful delivery and referrals thus far, we are building out a dedicated team to develop and deliver this offering. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ Role overview Overall lead of our sustainability consultancy team, managing account teams, converting new business leads, supporting and developing more junior team members, developing new product offerings, and helping shape the strategy and structure of our company. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ Responsibilities Contribute experience and insight into Sillion’s strategic direction and offering, especially around our consulting proposition. Develop and deliver proposals with account leads, generate your own leads with new and existing clients, actively contribute to business development activities. Concurrently manage several projects across their life-cycle and be accountable for these projects, providing high value to our clients, whilst delivering on time and on budget. Perform line management responsibilities for direct reports, including conducting performance reviews and goal-setting, and providing mentorship and guidance on career path development. Actively demonstrate thought leadership through co-authoring position papers, presenting at webinars and participating at leading forums. Ideally developing a personal brand in addition to promoting Sillion’s brand. Lead and grow client relationships and developing a trusted advisor relationship with a senior stakeholders. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ Required experience 10+ years of overall experience, 5+ years in consultancy, 3+ years in the sustainability space. Familiarity with the corporate disclosure regulation in ESG and sustainability. Detailed understanding of C-suite and Board perspectives and requirements regarding sustainability. Strong management capabilities – you enjoy managing and developing high-trajectory teams. Strong sales track record – you will have been a recognised business winner in prior positions. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ Useful experience Experience in a small consultancy or start-up environment. Experience with data-driven products and services. Experience in coding and development. Data visualisation experience. Technology and engineering experience. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ Location We work primarily from a beautiful office in London Bridge, as well as from our homes. A mixture of home and office working is likely to continue for the foreseeable future.
