They have successfully been in business since 1985 and grown from strength to strength across the globe.Due to their continued success within the industry, they have been going through a sustained period of change and are now recruiting for a Head of Compliance to head up the business function, to work across all their national contracts.As a critical role to the ongoing success of the business, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving compliance and consistency of operating standards across the business. The Head of Compliance will be implementing new maintenance procedures in line with current legislation and conducting service checks across all sites, including:Electrical InspectionPAT TestingGas ComplianceHealth & SafetyThe successful candidate will be responsible for the highest-level oversight and delivery of compliance procedures within operations and supply chain, ultimately to ensure the business fulfils its statutory responsibilities and safety focused work environment. You will be the principle duty holder / EQS (Employee Qualification and Supervision) is a key aspect within NICEIC (National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting).Key responsibilities:PeopleAs a manager of managers, the Head of Compliance is accountable for a team of National Specialist LeadsTotal overall responsibility for 25 across the wider compliance division.SafetyDevelopment and oversight of legislative, regulatory, company and client control systemsRegular compliance audit and reviewImprovementEstablishing new compliance procedure and policyDevelop strategy to ensure all planned compliance and schedules are adhered toImplement reporting and monitoring tools/methods to evidence complianceAs the Subject Matter Expert within compliance, you will oversee any investigations and improve the root cause analysis processSample checking 5% of third party and internal technicians/suppliersEducation background of GCSE / Standard Grade level as a minimum, ideally NVQ Level 3/City and guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or equivalent in electrical installation/Maintenance.City and Guilds 2391 Inspection & TestingCity and Guilds 2381 18th Edition.FM industry knowledge and experienceSenior management of internal teams and client stakeholder relationshipsHigh-level Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) experience, with a focus on the delivery of performance data.In return, our client is offering total flexibility of salary package (between £60k-£100k) depending on experience + health care + pension scheme + 33 days annual leave (including 8 bank holidays)For more information, please contact Mark on 07908 947 467 or apply with your current CV to prompt a call back.
