We serve over 1,000 investment firms, offering clients 24/7 coverage through our team of 1500 employees located across nine offices.Job DescriptionWhat will you do?Creating a contemporary tone of voice, our comms strategy is all about optimising knowledge of our brand and bolstering our reputation externally, as well as inspiring and informing our people internally. As the new Head of Communications you will take responsibility of both external and internal comms partnering with the CEO and ExCo to oversee our PR strategy, manage an external PR agency and advise the business on our approaches to internal communication.We are currently a Slack-first business, so you’ll revise and evangelise best-practices and policies to ensure we’re using this tool to work collaboratively and communicate effectively. You’ll ensure company announcements are well paced and, where necessary, handled sensitively. You’ll take ownership on the creation of a completely new intranet for employees: this exciting project will help us share knowledge and announcements, and signposting existing content.Fully immersed in the business, you’ll ensure the cadence and format of meetings is engaging and relevant. You’ll act as the advisor to all communication, guiding and supporting internal and external messaging from an HR and Marketing perspective. Whether working closely with our CEO and senior leaders, our external PR partners or our internal Marketing team, you’ll enhance our product messaging, better our working relationships, and celebrate our successes.QualificationsWhat will you bring?As an experienced communications manager, we’d like to learn from your experiences of best practice and open up different ways to collaborate and communicate. Your mature approach to comms of all kinds allows you to bring an expertise to reshape our communications at every level of the organisation.Your knowledge management skills, including ownership and implementation of the intranet or other internal communications hub, will be vital in the design and deliver of a new Third Bridge solution. You have extensive experience of Slack and can inform on best practices and embed these into every day behaviours. Your own communication skills are excellent in writing and presenting your ideas and other concepts, influencing key stakeholders to ensure whole-business adoption of improvements.A project manager and organiser, you have experience managing the cadence of global whole-staff meetings, managing multiple priorities, and liaising with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
