We are recruiting for a Head of Commercial to lead the UK Sales function and deliver sustainable growth in the UK.Responsibilities: Head of CommercialProactively maintain and develop a network of key customer contacts at Category Manager and Grocery Director level and leverage those partnerships to deliver growth.Conduct regular business reviews with major customers. Set the strategy and lead negotiations for cost price increases, NPD launches and contract terms.Lead, coach and develop the Sales and Marketing team to deliver a budgeted sales plan (retail, wholesale, B2B and out of home) achieving volume, revenue and company profit objectives.Manage a team of 4. 3 National Account Managers and a Sales Support Executive requiring monthly team meetings, PDRs and regular 1:1 coaching.Work closely with the UK Marketing team to ensure new product launches are as smooth as possible.Work closely with the UK Supply Chain team overseeing the efficient and effective forecasting of sales enabling the efficient purchase of raw materials and packaging.Be a category partner to our largest customers, providing category insight, market data and knowledge as required. Build a thorough understanding of our customer’s trading strategies, including the key levers to achieve business objectives.Be an ambassador for the UK business within our customers and in the wider UK market.Be a key member of the Leadership team. Work collaboratively with peers from other parts of UK and Group to ensure the growth and success of the business, including contributing ideas and sharing knowledge and experiences.
