Head of Commercial Finance - Consumer

Job Description
An iconic consumer business who are an instantly recognisable brand are currently looking to recruit a very high performing Head of Commercial Finance, who will oversee all things commercial finance for a £bn revenue area of the business.
This is an incredible role to become a change manager and inject gold standard business partnering and data utilisation through to your team, but also through various other areas of the business. You will gain maximum exposure with exec and ideally be on a path to FD very quickly.
Some of the duties and responsibilities for the successful Head of Commercial Finance:
Business partnering the Trading Directors and the Category teams beneath to aid commercial decision making.
Provide support and challenge the Leadership team to adopt new initiatives and act on both risk and opportunities.
Oversight and management of both the ‘in year’ and ‘3 year’ strategic plan, and being the glue within the various areas of the business to achieve this
Assist the Exec teams in the evaluation of new opportunities and business change
Data, Data, Data! Using what is at your fingertips to drive decisions and up skill your team to do so, in order to create the stories in a clear manner to non finance director stakeholders
Drive your team to be the best, high performing team in the market that are always considered when commercial decisions need to be made
Educations, skills and experience:
Qualified, minimum 5 years PQE
Strong business partnering/commercial finance experience
Evidence of leading high performing teams
Ideally Consumer/FMCG/Retail sector experience
Can do attitude and a thirst for career development
