Head of Client Accounting required for a Private Equity backed Financial Services business in Birmingham!

Stanton House are partnering exclusively with a Private Equity backed Financial Services organisation to hire a Head of Client Accounting based near to Birmingham.

We are looking for a talented Head of Client Accounting to lead and manage the client accounting functions within the Group. This involved ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting to clients, overseeing client payments and managing the team.

The organisation are also undergoing a large, digital transformation which you will have the opportunity to support with along with scoping and defining processes and efficiencies

To successfully deliver in the profile position, you will need to meet the following criteria:

• Strong, demonstrable experience of working within Client Accounting
• Strong understanding of financial accounting and compliance regulations
• Prior experience of leading and developing teams
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Commercially astute, articulate, technically strong and influential leader with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels
• Exceptional communication skills (written and oral), across the organisation
• Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks, coordinating with various stakeholders

A little more information about the responsibilities in the role:

• Ensure precise processing of receipts and payments to clients
• Ensure compliance with client billing and payment terms, and timely financial reporting to clients
• Managing and developing the client accounting team, including setting goals, providing guidance and support, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Identify and resolve any billing or payment issues
• Support with the digital transformation across the group and continuously looking at ways to improve processes and systems, collaborating with wider teams when necessary
