Our client is a dynamic, co-educational 11-18 school. The school strives to be outstanding in everything they do, producing young people who have the confidence, qualifications, experience and aspiration to be successful.

Our client is seeking a well-qualified and enthusiastic Head of Careers who feels they can make a significant contribution to the school as a whole.

The successful candidate will have the ability to make a real difference to the life chances of thousands of students. Careers provision is one of USPs for the school. By strategically leading our clients’ careers provision at the key transition points of 14, 16 and 18 years of age you will impact the choices and future directions that young people take. You will act as a crucial conduit between students and employers and ensure that the skills required for employability are championed throughout the school.

You will be abreast of the latest developments in the labour market and use this to impact the exposure of students to employability routes such as apprenticeships. An excellent networker, you will be capable of building strong relationships with school alumni network, outside organisations and major international companies, to the benefit of students. You will also be able to fully support students looking to continue further academic study, through the traditional university application route.
