At Beiersdorf, we invest time into developing our own leading skin care brands – NIVEA, Eucerin, and Elastoplast – to ensure we continue to provide our customers with the products they need to live a happier, fuller life.As our Head of Commercial Excellence, Northern Europe (NOE) you are responsible for the development of the Commercial Strategy and Operational Excellence for the NOE region, which includes the UK, Republic of Ireland and the Nordic countries. You will work closely with the NOE General Manager NOE, UK & ROI ales Director, NOE Marketing Director, NOE Finance Director & Country Manager Nordics to shape our strategy and ensure delivery of operational excellence and profitable growth.Your Tasks
Commercial Strategy
You will be responsible for the development of the commercial Strategy for Northern Europe, in alignment with the Sales Director, Marketing Director and General Manager, to enable the business to deliver our Revenue, Profitability and Share targets.
Operational Excellence
You will be responsible for OPEX (Operational Excellence) in the Northern Europe business. You will be responsible for ongoing OPEX interventions, identify commercial opportunities, developing plans to drive growth and implementing and tracking delivery of these opportunities
New Product Launches
You will be responsible for developing the go to market strategy for new products including price and promo and launching them with excellence and scale.
NSP, TTC and Floor price strategy
You will be responsible for NSP, TTC and Floor price strategy for Northern Europe.Work cross functionally to define promo strategy within the framework of the regional strategy and implement in line with brand, sales and profit objectives and global guidelines.
Analytics & Insights
You are responsible for the commercial analytics function for the Northern European business, looking to leverage data and ensuring that the business is well equipped to make data-led decisions
Category Management
You are responsible for the Category Management function for the UK & ROI. You will be responsible for building best in class relationships with our Retailers, developing strategies to deliver mutual growth for Beiersdorf and our Retailers and driving excellence in execution in store and online. Develop and execute category growth concepts with customers based on strategic customer portfolio and in line with brand priorities.
Regional Stakeholder Management
You will represent Northern Europe with the Regional Sales, Operational Excellence and Marketing teams on Operational Excellence topics and share recommendations from the Northern Europemarket which could be leveraged by the wider Europe & North America business.
Leadership
You will lead and develop the Commercial Excellence team as well as develop the function to drive continuous improvement.
Your Profile
FMCG or retail background is essential
Experience in RGM or Category Management is a benefit but not essential
Commercial acumen
Strong leadership skills
Strategic thinkingand the ability to turn data into insight, and lead on actionable recommendations
Ability to lead and manage cross functional teams
Curiosity and the willingness to challenge status quo to identify new growth opportunities
