Head of Business Architecture

Head of Business Architecture/Senior Business Architect - Implementing new technologies into the public sector - Up to £95,000 DOE + Bonus + Benefits (Oxford or Leeds)

Concept are currently working with a growing digital and cloud transformation consultancy, currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Business Architecture/Senior Business Architect to lead their existing Business Analyst practice and spearhead their technology and operating strategy.

Our client is trusted by customers to deliver significant complex technology transformation programs in both the public and private sectors.

As the Head of Business Architecture, your responsibilities will include:

• Lead and mentor a team of business analysts, fostering a collaborative learning environment with a focus on leveraging technology.
• Define and establish a clear practice vision and roadmap for the organisation's operating model and business architecture.
• Collaborate with other practice leads to implement technology-driven growth initiatives and processes.
• Develop and implement cutting-edge business analysis methodologies and best practices leveraging the latest technological advancements.
• Utilise technology to gather and document clear, concise requirements aligned with business goals.
• Drive continuous improvement of technology-enabled business analysis practices and deliverables.
• Provide strategic guidance on adopting and implementing innovative technologies to optimize business analysis efforts in alignment with organisational objectives.
• Develop and enforce design principles, collaborate on investment cases, shape the portfolio, and actively contribute to governance to support strategic transformation and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Lead Business and/or Enterprise Architecture initiatives within the financial services industry, focusing on architecture, capabilities, services, and processes.

• Utilise expertise in business/enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGA/Business Architecture Guild) and change methodologies to drive best practices.
• Support complex organisational change, including people, process, and technology development, leveraging experience in the Public Sector and/or Consulting sectors.
• Apply technology-focused business analysis methodologies, processes, and tools to drive strategic objectives.
• Lead teams of business analysts to achieve technological goals, providing coaching and mentorship for technology-driven initiatives.
• Utilise advanced problem-solving skills to address technological complexities and ensure effective communication and collaboration across diverse teams.

This role would suit an individual who is either currently a Senior Business Architect, Head of Business Analysis or a Lead/Principal Business Analysts. Interviews are being conducted W/c 5^th February for those interested in applying.
