Shoreham-by-Sea (Hybrid 2-3 days in office)This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing Private Equity backed ICT Services business. The Data and Analytics team are responsible for the continued growth of data and analytics capabilities within the business, sitting across all divisions, acquisitions, and products of Focus Group.This role is to lead the team of Business Intelligence (BI) analysts, actively contributing to the evolution of Focus’s internal reporting to drive the growth and strategy of the business, both organic and inorganic. The role is extremely versatile and will expose the successful candidate to data modelling, forecasting, visualisation, FP&A and Corporate Finance.
Role is based in HQ offices in Shoreham by Sea, with ability to work from home 2 to 3 days a week. Principal Responsibilities/Duties Work with Directors and Heads of. across the business to understand new reporting requirements and actively take part in the production of new materials Responsible for the data integrity coming out of core systems (Billing, CRM, Operations workflow) Proven ability to shape a range of diverse requirements into coherent and understandable strategies Regular presentation of findings to C-suite Actively contribute to the delivery of a cloud-based data warehouse to streamline data processes and unlock deeper analytics capabilities Championing the use of data and digital tools by non-technical users across the business
Essential Skills Experience working in a data-led environment within the Telecoms / ICT industry Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with staff at all levels Self-starter, continuously come up with new recommendation on how to improve analysis, processes and use data to drive efficiencies Experience in data modelling Strong commercial mindset, proven track record of turning complicated datasets into concise and insightful analysis Excellent attention to detail Ambitious, team player with ‘can do’ attitude Proven management and mentoring skills Exposure to FP&A or Corporate Finance
