Head of Brand - SportThis is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who has worked in sport, and they're looking for their next big move to Head of Brand role. We are looking for a marketing leader with at least 10+ years experience, and you would have done some of this work within sports or rights holders. This opportunity is for a marketing director / Head of Brand to come and join this rights holder and drive brand and marketing activity across their own brand but also help to deliver brand activation work across partner activity.The role will be based 4 days a week in London, and 1 day a week in their HQ in Oxford. The Head of Brand will be a key member of the leadership team, reporting into the Marketing Director and working closely with the wider marketing, creative, content and commercial team in the business. The Head of Brand will be responsible for the brand strategy for this team and sport. You'll look at their positioning within the market, and drive connections with their audiences, helping to build more fans and enthusiasts for the team and the sport.The team have an in-house creative department, full of great designers and creatives, and the Head of Brand will manage and oversee this team, helping to translate your strategic thinking into beautifully crafted creative work. You'll be the brand guardian, and the Head of Brand will help to build the brand, we need someone who can think at an integrated level and deliver brand led creative work across all comms touch points. You'll work very closely with the other teams, including the partnership and sponsorship teams, and we're looking for a Head of Brand who understands how to activate partnerships from a strategic and creative point of view. You'll be a Head of Brand with at least 10+ years experience, with experience in sports and entertainment. You'll have excellent experience in leading and developing, and executing brand strategic work at an integrated level, talking to diverse audiences. We need a Head of Brand with excellent project management and delivery skills, lots of the creative work is developed in-house so we need someone who is used to delivering work, meeting deadlines and hitting budgets. Strategically you'll be strong, and you'll get data, we want a Head of Brand who has a passion for brand design, and brand architecture, and you'll be a leader who can bring creative projects to life. The Head of Brand needs strong presentation skills, excellent written and oral skills, and you'll communicate with clarity, working seamlessly with others across the department.
