Are you an Art and Design practitioner who loves inspiring young minds and is passionate about the subject?Do you have the potential to lead a team of Art and Design teachers to deliver success in a Head of Department role?If the answer is yes, then we would love to hear from you!We are looking to recruit a dynamic, talented and highly motivated Head of Art and Design to lead our experienced Art and Design department. You will play a leading and highly visible role within the department, supported by two Key Stage Co-ordinators and a Literacy Co-ordinator, to ensure the highest standards of learning, teaching and achievement for our students.We require someone who is passionate about their subject and is inspirational to their students and colleagues. You will be able to plan and deliver interesting and stimulating lessons, setting a level of challenge for all abilities across all key stages. Someone who has experience of curriculum leadership, or preparation for management, with a proven track record of positive outcomes for students across Key Stages 3 and would be an ideal candidate. We are based in central Milton Keynes, an area that continues to grow and thrive at a rapid rate. The Milton Keynes Academy joined Creative Education Trust in September 2018. This has enabled the school to continue its rigorous pursuit of rapid improvement for the children it teaches.
