Reporting to – Chief Technology Officer We are now hiring a Head of Architecture to come and join our rapidly scaling, dynamic, and rewarding technology team here in Edenred PayTech.We are looking for a new Head of Architecture to
lead
Architecture
through
a period of rapid change,
growth
, and platform renewal.
You will be
c
onceiving,
refining
, and promoting a compelling architecture vision
and strategy
for
PayTech
that will meet our ambitious goals, delivering value on our global payments and banking-as-a-service (BaaS) platform, rapidly, securely, and safely.
This
means
scaling
PayTech
onto
the
AWS
cloud and
defining
the migration
strategy from a monolithic
,
on-premise
past to a micro-
services based
cloud-native future
.
To add to the challenge
, this needs to be achieved within the
regulatory
standards
required of a highly regulated modern
financial institution
.
What you will be doing:
Develop
a
compelling
a
rchitectural strategy
for our platform
to enable the business strategy of growth and global scale
Secure broad buy-in for the strategy and then
support
the Product Engineering
team
to
delive
r
the strategy
iteratively
Lead the architecture revolution
required
to adopt
microservice
s,
support
ing
global scale and continuous deployment of new features
L ead a small team of architects making impactful contributions to a portfolio of change projects
Define
architecture
to the
require
d
level
for security, scalability,
performance
and availability
Drive
quality through adoption of standards and best practice
Cultivate close working relationships with
Platforms,
Operations,
E
ngineering &
Product areas
Improve maturity of the Architecture practice , leading
a
rchitecture &
d
esign reviews throughout the Development lifecycle.
D rive and support innovation
, challenge the status quo
Support
product management
, defining and refining solutions architecture to support new product
capabilities
Empower and enable d evelopment teams to take
on design decisions
safely and effectively
What we want from you: Technical
Significant commercial experience of: Setting and implementing architectural strategy and roadmaps
in complex, high-change settings
Microservice-based arch
itectures
,
best
practice
and migration
Enterprise
and solutions
arch
itecture
Cloud
infrastructure and services
, including hybrid environments
Supporting engineering teams
with Architectural strategy and direction
Design practices and modelling,
e.g.
UML, TOGAF
DevOps culture and practices
Experience of the following would be
