Head of AdmissionsFull TimeEpsom College is a co-educational day and boarding school with approximately 1100 pupils aged 11-18. The College is located one mile from Epsom town, below Epsom Downs, in fine buildings set in a beautiful tree filled campus of some 72 acres. Originally founded by The Royal Medical Benevolent Foundation, today the College strives to develop the individual talents of every girl and boy. The College is seeking to appoint an experienced Head of Admissions who will be responsible to the Director of Marketing and Communications for the successful and efficient delivery of the pupil recruitment and admissions strategy. The successful candidate will be a hands-on and an experienced professional who shares Epsom College’s ethos and values. The Head of Admissions will be a conscientious and hard-working individual who enjoys collaborating with a wide range of staff, pupils, parents and importantly prospective parents and is equally comfortable as a self-starter able to deploy their initiative and leadership skills. A good work ethic combined with flexibility, pragmatism and a sense of humour is essential.The ideal candidate will have proven experience in an administrative role and experience of working within a school’s Admissions department would be desirable. You will be able to demonstrate a number of measurable successes along with successfully implementing a development plan to support the Recruitment and Admissions strategy. The successful candidate will be highly organised, have excellent communication skills, able to multi task and a competent IT user.
