An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional candidate to fulfil the role as a full-time physiotherapist, working primarily with the U18 squad whilst also taking a strategic operational role across the entire Academy at Doncaster Rovers. Whilst the focus is on injury prevention and rehabilitation, there is also a responsibility to support the transition of player development from the academy into the first team squad.
As a HCPC registered physiotherapist, the post holder will work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team and be a member of the academy management team (AMT). They will be able to demonstrate team working as well as acting on their own initiative. They will be skilled in the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries and be able to use objective markers to guide the return to play process.
About The Candidate
We are looking for a candidate ideally with previous experience in football however this would not exclude candidates should they have strong clinical skills and a passion to work within the footballing environment. We are seeking a highly motivated clinician who is able to communicate effectively, maintain a high standard of clinical record keeping and deliver evidence-based rehabilitation. The ITMMIF qualification is essential, however an ATMMIF qualification would be preferred. The candidate will also need to be a HCPC registered physiotherapist.
