Head of Engineering (NeuroTech)
Location: Cambridge (Hybrid)
Salary: £80k upwards
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Head of Engineering (NeuroTech) based in Cambridge !

Role Description
Engage in a hands-on position within the Research and Development (R&D) team.
Collaborating with a diverse group of engineers, doctors, and scientists.
Primary objective will be to advance the design and transfer from proof of concept all the way to manufacturing and clinical trials.
Engage with the breakthrough development contributing technical solutions for conditions such as Parkinson’s, tinnitus, chronic pain, epilepsy and sleep apnoea.
These devices will be implantable so experience working with Class III regulations and standards is a necessity. Examples of these are Pacemakers, Breast Implants, Cochlear implants.
Having significant understanding of managing the full lifecycle of a product from conception to manufacturing to clinical trials.
Key Technical Skills
Experience with novel AIMD Class III devices
Developing Biosensor-based, chip-based products in R&D
System Engineering experience of neuromodulation device design
Digital signal processing experience with modulation/demodulation algorithms
Experience working with small signals (Femto, Pico, Nano Range)
Familiar with relevant industry regulations 13485 (or equivalent)
