Are you an experienced Head Chef with a real passion to inspire your team and build a kitchen to be proud of? If you are, look no further as this may be the right job for you for a new and rewarding challenge in a busy open kitchen working for our client based in Dover.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day to day running of a fast paced kitchen
  • Supervise and lead the Catering team
  • Assist the Management team in stock inventory management and order supplies
  • Oversee and manage all recipes and prepared food dishes are correct and maintained to the highest quality of standards at all times
  • Supervise the overall cleanliness of the kitchen

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as Head Chef is desirable, as is a passion and drive to inspire others around them and the kitchen team
  • Excellent knowledge of kitchen processes and in-depth understanding of all of the aspects within a commercial kitchen
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of computer programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
  • Food hygiene and Health and Safety qualifications required
  • Commercial awareness
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
