Head Chef

We are currently recruiting a Head Chef for a renowned Lake District based Hotel and Spa.

As Head Chef we would be looking for you to take advantage of local produce and Cumbrian specialties. Drawing inspiration from both traditional English fayre and classical French cuisine, refined to reflect todays lighter, healthier lifestyle.

• You would be responsible for the day-to-day food operation of the main hotel restaurant, private parties, bespoke weddings, and afternoon teas.
• Overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and team management. Your expertise in food production and your ability to create delicious and visually appealing dishes will contribute to the success of our restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices required.

To be successful in your application as our Head Chef you would require experience in similar high quality accoladed establishments/rosette level dining and have proven culinary and management skills, you will need excellent communication skills to hit the high attention to detail required from your team.
