Head Chef

SALARY: Salary Competitive c�35 depending on experience

MMP are looking for an energetic, self-directed and ambitious Head Chef with a background in restaurant standard food and a mastery of culinary techniques consistent with an exceptional dining experience to join an inspiring specialist hospital in the beautiful Surrey countryside.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Looking for a Head Chef with a minimum of 5 years experience. This is a full time role (37.5 hours per week) to join a small, friendly team. Hours of work will be on a shift pattern between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm and will every other weekend working.

You should be a confident leader who is well versed in managing a busy kitchen with a minimum of NVQ level 3 In Catering Services, a Level 3 in Food Hygiene, Supervisory Experience, good knowledge of COSHH and Health and Safety. In addition, you will understand texture modification (IDSSI) and Management of Allergens would be an advantage.

You will have a track record in supporting, enabling and developing the team, bringing a positive energy to the services within your area of responsibility.
