What you will do as a Head Chef at the Montagu Kitchen & Lounge, a contemporary and seasonal British all-day dining destination
Managing food costs in accordance with budget & the hotel business plan
Responsible for seasonal menu change
Work successfully with other teams to maximize guest satisfaction and enhance guest dining experiences
Supervise colleagues within the department, making sure that the correct standards and methods of service are maintained as stated in the Departmental Operations Manual
Training, coaching & mentoring culinary colleagues to make sure that they have the skills necessary to perform their duties in the most productive way, ensuring maximum colleague engagement
Recruit future culinary talent and manage the performance of the team
To implement effective training programs for colleagues in coordination with the Learning Manager and/or Departmental Trainer
